Step into the entrance hall with cloakroom and separate W.C. off, and then through the archway to the huge lounge with vaulted ceiling. Space, light and comfort will be your first impression. The décor is crisp white, with beautiful original artwork around the walls.

Soft and comfortable furniture is arranged around the room for your relaxation. Two sets of French doors lead to the south west facing terraces. Open them and allow the cool fresh breeze to waft through the house. In winter, relax in front of the large, wood burning stove, listening to the calming sounds and savouring the smell of the wood. Enjoy the British TV, Video, DVD and Stereo system. There is an honesty bar for the occasional drink before dinner, and an excellent selection of books, magazines, video’s and CD’s.

The dining kitchen is a cook’s dream, with built in dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and halogen hob, and with a large squashy sofa to relax on whilst enjoying the aromas of your special meal. Lots of good quality crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, together with some of the latest cookery books for those special romantic meals are provided. French doors lead onto the terraces, with BBQ and outdoor furniture, where you can quietly enjoy beautiful sunsets, while sipping a glass of local wine.

There are four large, individually styled bedrooms, with comfortable beds, high quality bedding, and sumptuous throws and cushions.

The huge master bedroom with double French doors leading to the garden, has a luxurious king size metal bed and spacious en suite.

There is plenty of hanging space, hangers and drawers in all bedrooms.

The bathrooms have full size baths and large walk in showers, with thermostatically controlled, powerful jets.

There is a twin room, a further king size room and a double. The double has doors leading to the garden, while the twin and king size have views over the Dropt valley.

The gossamer light drapes give privacy and add coolness to the bedrooms. Fans are provided, along with powerful hair-dryers. There are British adaptors for the electrical sockets.

All bed linen and towels are included. No supplements are payable for logs or central heating during the cooler months, ensuring your stay is cosy, warm and comfortable.

The house has ADSL internet access, together with free unlimited calls to land lines in Europe and North America.

All necessary equipment to ensure your comfort and convenience is available, including kettle, toaster, microwave, iron and board etc… Plenty of kitchen and bathroom consumables (detergents, loo paper, cling film etc) are provided.

For our guest’s comfort, smoking is restricted to the outside terraces only.The garden extends to an acre, with lawns, lavender and laurel hedging surrounding the house. There is a private sweeping driveway with parking for four cars.

A short level stroll takes you into the pretty ‘bastide’ town of Monsegur with bars, restaurants, cafes and many more attractions.
